In the novel, she doesnt feature as much as in the donghua, one can say she probably has twice the amount of time in the novel compared with Fang Qingxue's sister, there is no romance or anything like that, just friends and he helps her cultivation, if they do change the story then I wonder which wife will be replaced or character combined with, since her character replaced some of Qingxue's head maid's scene (guiding Fang Han and giving advice in the previous episodes)

The maid is totally removed, and there is supposed to be three servants and or slaves that bullied Fang Han when he received the crane seal, the three stooges which will play a part later on, the maid's role of advising and guiding Fang Han in regards to the crane seal was replaced by Hongyi, this will mean more changes later on, since the maid's background isnt as simple as being a maid, but that cant be put onto Hongyi because it wont make any sense, she might make an appearance later.

If you ever read Perfect World, Wu Shang Shen Di or Against the Sky Supreme, then it is kind of the same thing for Yong Sheng, go to higher realm, restart, enemies attack, offend people, kill people, it isnt like Doupo Cangqiong where the storyline is more smoother and less frustrating but Yong Sheng is way better than Peerless Martial Spirit, never have I read a novel where the author hates the main character so much that he throws every single obstacle at the main character just to frustrate the reader
There's a total of 1634 chapters and I am on chapter 983, I stopped because it is beginning to get repetitive and it is at the part where he is about to go to a higher realm, I kind of hate these type of plot devices since it will mean main characters will have to start from the lowest level (not all the time) in that realm and go through the same things again I found it interesting since it helps to explain a little bit more background but the donghua is doing a good job, there are some differences, but overall the donghua makes the pacing better and the storyline more smoother.

Third one is platonic and heavily implied romantic but no actual moves yet, she saved his life at the cost of hers and almost died and he uses almost all his wealth and medicine to keep her alive, and she is saved later on, and more powerful than him at the moment, she is the reincarnation of the Mother Lightning
Fourth looks like one sided, one of her tribulation is a love tribulation that involves Fang Han, she is currently the most powerful person in the realm, Fang Han is almost as powerful, but mainly because he has a lot of weapons, tools, slaves and a lot of things, without them, he isnt as strong
Fifth one, there is no hint of romance at all, probably in later chapters, she is also the weakest out of the five Dao companions and of course she is weaker than Fang Han
So out of five, he is stronger than three of his potential or current Dao companions

Princess of the second ranked, Hongyi, currently as of chapter 983, in the novel is there no hint of a romance between the two of them, admiration yes, a passing wishful thinking, perhaps but no actual love interest

He's getting stronger hella quick though, I wonder if people will starf catching on or suspicious of his quick rising of levels in martial arts.
